15 Minute Cheesy Chicken & Asparagus Rice Dinner

A quick and delicious cheesy chicken and asparagus rice dish ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

1 tbsp oil
4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb)
Salt
Pepper
1 1/2 cups water or milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups Minute white rice, uncooked
2 cups of cut-up fresh asparagus
1 cup Kraft shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds (optional)

Instructions

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; season with salt and pepper. Cover; cook 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove chicken from pan.

Add water or milk and soup to skillet; stir. Bring to boil.

Stir in rice and asparagus. Top with chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and almonds. Cover. Cook on low heat 5 minutes.
