A classic, hearty meat loaf baked to perfection with a sweet, tangy sauce.

Recipe from Helen Fraaza, paternal great aunt.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef

1 cup tomato juice

3/4 cup g.g. oatmeal

1 egg

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp pepper

1 cup catsup - sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar - sauce

1/8 tsp garlic powder - sauce

1/8 cup chopped onion - sauce

Mix & bake.

I've been baking my meat loaf on a cookie sheet. Form into a loaf, we like it better.

I make this sauce & put over the meat loaf. We like it real well.

Combine all ingredients & spread over meat loaf.
