A creamy, cheesy potato casserole topped with crisp cornflake crumbs for a satisfying side dish.

Recipe from Kathleen Langford Dilleshaw, Charlie’s maternal grandmother.

Ingredients

2 lb. Ore-Ida Southern Style Hash Browns
1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
1 C. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 C. Ore-Ida Chopped Onions
1 stick melted butter
1-1/2 C. cornflake crumbs
4 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

Mix hash browns, sour cream, cheese, soup, onion, and butter together.

Put in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.

Mix crumbs and butter and pour over the top.

Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serves 12.
