Cajun Cream Pasta

Ingredients

1 pound of pasta
1 pint heavy cream
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
1 Tbsp creole/cajun seasoning
1 Tbsp smoked paprika
2 tsp salt
1 Cup white wine
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp chicken bouillon
1/2 Cup chopped onion
1lb Chicken thighs
3-4 links andouille sausage
1lb shrimp
Frozen chopped spinach (optional)

Instructions

  • Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil 
  • Add white wine and chicken base 
  • Let wine reduce by half 
  • Boil pasta 1 minute shy of instructions 
  • Add creole/cajun seasoning, paprika, salt and pepper and tomato paste. 
  • Add cream and reduce by half
  • Add Parmesan cheese (optional) 
  • Add in pasta and serve garnished with parsley
