Ingredients

1 1/2 cups whole milk
3/4 cups whipping cream
2 tbsp sugar
10oz 60-70% bittersweet chocolate; finely chopped
1 tsp vanilla
Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Heat milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan over medium-low until just simmering.
  2. Remove from heat and add in chocolate and vanilla. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir until smooth. Return to low heat if necessary to melt chocolate.
