These Mile High Biscuits are fluffy and buttery, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
3 c all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp plus 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 tsp cream of tartar
3/4 c butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c plus 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter with pastry blender. Combine egg and milk. Add to dry ingredients and stir until well moistened. Knead until smooth. Roll out 1" inch, cut with 2 1/2" cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until done 12-15 minutes.
