Combine flour, soda, salt, sugar and oil. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla, apples and nuts. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours. Pour on glaze while hot.
Combine margarine, brown sugar, and evaporated milk; boil for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over cake while hot.
