In a large oblong Pyrex dish or 2 smaller square pans, place 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1 stick butter (melted).
Beat for 15 minutes with mixer 2 sticks margarine (soft), 2 eggs, 2 cups powdered sugar. Be sure to beat well.
Spread over mixture of crumbs.
Slice 5 small or 3 large bananas over this and sprinkle one large can of crushed pineapple (in heavy syrup) which is well drained. Top with 1 large carton Cool Whip and sprinkle chopped pecans over this.
(Optional) Decorate with maraschino cherries.
