A rich and decadent hot fudge cake with a luscious chocolate frosting.

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup flour - self-rising
1 stick butter
1 chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes in a 9x11 pan.

For the frosting: 
Combine 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 stick butter, 2 cups sugar, and 1 cup chocolate chips. 
Cook on stove in an iron pot. 
Pour over warm cake.
